The Pepper Zoo Presents DJ Sydney Blu Taking Over Egypt [TECHNO]

Known for her electric stage presence and performance, Sydney Blu is the best female (Joanne Hill) Techno DJ in the business. Born in Ontario, she developed a liking for dance music. In 2000, she turned down a job at Walt Disney's Epcot Center Globe in Orlando, Florida to become a local DJ in Toronto. “I ended up turning down that job to stay in Toronto because I got deep into the club scene. I made friends with loads of DJs and promoters, and eventually started DJing,” says Joanne, in her quietly assured voice. “I was pretty good at building a name for myself and after a while I had a strong following. That’s when Guvernment came knocking and offered me a residency.”

Joanne speaks on her female presence in the industry, “I never played the ‘girl DJ’ card. I had agents offer me the chance to join playboy type DJ agencies, where the girls take their clothes off whilst they DJ,” reveals Sydney. “Some girls do it as a shortcut. I’m not into that. It’s not right to cut corners. Every other DJ out there has to work hard to get noticed for the right reasons, and I wanted to be recognised for my music like everyone else.” She built a global name for herself. Atlanta native STS, formerly known as Sugar Tongue Slim, spits some FIRE on his newest mixtape "Demand More 2." Known for his clever word play and smooth flow, he represents ATL and Philly on this 16-track album of heat makers. He broke barriers in the underground music world and killed the game from poetry to Hip-Hop. In 2005, he co-wrote Ciara's hit song featuring Ludacris, "Oh" with renowned producers Andre Harris and Vidale Davis. No amateur to the music world, he has collaborated with DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ivan Barias, Carvin Haggins, Kwame, Charlie Baltimore, Lloyd, Nas, and Mario. His lyrics cover a span of topics including social, economic, and political elements.

Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance" Receives 10 Million Listeners a Week!

Armin Van Buuren, an infamous Techno DJ from Holland, is a truly influential trance artist. According to sources, he has won "Best Album" for artist album 'Shivers' at the Dutch Release Dance Awards and the Edison Awards; 'Best Compilation' for 'A State of Trance', in 2006, claiming the 'Best European DJ' award in 2007 and 'Best Mix Radio Show' at the Miami Winter Music Conference 5 years in a row for radio show 'A State of Trance' now broadcasting on a massive 40 FM stations as well as satellite and Internet radio, with over 10 million listeners a week. On April 2nd, the 7^th edition of Armin’s compilation series will be released on Armada Music. ‘A State of Trance 2010’ represents all quality trance, progressive and other music ahead and on its way of becoming the future favorites of the dance scene.

The Pepper Zoo experienced Van Buuren live at this year's Miami Winter Music Conference, which was awe-inspiring. At first, we were a little unsure about Techno music and how it would appeal to us. But, after Armin Van Buuren spun one track...we were amazed! He is an artist. Producing the entire presentation takes a great deal of talent. Not only was it entertaining, but it was music that could be felt! Armin Van Buuren says,
